A broad coalition of groups including the Yurok, Karuk and Klamath Tribes, agricultural organizations, conservation groups, non-Indian fishing groups, and federal and state agencies see the Klamath Agreements as the best pathway to achievelong-term stability, restoration and “peace on the river” in the Klamath Basin.

There are also a few agricultural groups, conservation groups and the Hoopa Valley Tribe who do not support the agreement.  A restoration program of this magnitude, in a place as complex as the Klamath Basin, is unlikely to be managed by perfect consensus.  However, the diversity of the supporters is indicative of the potential for this agreement to begin to bring real change to the Basin.
